Williamsburg, Virginia

Where America Began

Colonial Williamsburg and the historic triangle is a living history museum. Although CW is what most people think of when you say Williamsburg, everyday life in Williamsburg is a cornucopia of modern housing communities, quality schools, convenient shopping, casual and fine dining, entertainment, museums, farmers markets, craft shows and more. In short, it is a great place to raise a family or enjoy retirement.

Williamsburg has lovely houses in every price range. Governors Land, Kingsmill, Fords Colony and Greensprings Plantation are popular country club communities. Holly Hills, Monticello Woods, Powhatan Secondary, and The Vineyards are established communities with beautiful homes. Just to name a few. Townhouses and condos can be found at Longhill Gate, New Town, Braemar Creek, Fairway Villas and Lafontaine. Colonial Heritage and The Settlement at Powhatan are active adult communities for those young at heart.

Williamsburg is also a great place for outdoor enthusiasts. For recreational and serious bikers and walkers, The Virginia Capital Trail is a dedicated, paved bicycle and pedestrian trail between Jamestown and Richmond. Riders and walkers alike experience a safe and scenic outing along this 51.7 mile trail that is divided into eight sections. Waller Mill park is a perfect spot to launch your kayak. And did you know, there is even a beach off the Colonial Parkway on the James River?
